Welcome to Planify, a product of NIKS TECHNOLOGIES ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our social media scheduling platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

If you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, or Threads profile, we receive data from Meta under the permissions you approve. Specifically:
We use Meta Platform Data only to provide the features you asked for: publishing, scheduling, and reporting on your own content. We do not sell, license, or transfer Meta Platform Data to data brokers, advertising networks, or any party that would use it for their own purposes. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not combine it with data from other users to create audience or benchmarking products.
Planify is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.
Planify uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos to a YouTube channel you connect. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
When you connect a channel, Google asks you to grant two permissions, and this is all we do with them:
youtube.upload): to upload the videos you create or schedule in Planify, using your post's text as the video's title and description. We upload only when you publish or a post you scheduled comes due.youtube.readonly): used once, when you connect, to read your channel's ID, name and thumbnail so we can show which channel is connected and stop the same channel being connected to two Planify accounts.We store your channel ID, name and thumbnail, the OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues, the permissions you granted, and the ID and link of each video we upload for you. We do not read your existing videos, comments, subscribers, playlists, watch history or YouTube Analytics.
We do not sell YouTube or Google user data, use it for advertising, share it with our analytics or AI providers, or use it to train any AI model. The only thing our analytics learn is that you connected a YouTube account (see section 10.1). Planify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. People at Planify do not read this data except with your permission, to investigate security or abuse, or where the law requires it.
Revoking access: you can remove Planify's access to your YouTube channel at any time from your Google Account security settings. Once you do, the tokens we hold stop working and we can no longer upload to your channel. To have the YouTube data we store deleted, delete your Planify account (section 9.1) or email contact@planifyapps.com.
Planify sets no cookies on behalf of YouTube or Google for this integration; the cookies our own website uses are listed in section 10.
If you connect a LinkedIn profile or a LinkedIn Page, we receive data from LinkedIn under the permissions you approve. Specifically:
We use LinkedIn data only to publish the content you create and to report on its performance to you. Your LinkedIn data is visible only to you. We do not sell, license, or share it with third parties, use it for advertising or profiling, or combine it with other users' data.
Disconnecting the LinkedIn account in Planify deletes this data immediately (section 7.1). You can also revoke Planify's access at any time from LinkedIn's permitted services settings. Planify is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation.

We do not use your content, your connected account data, or Meta Platform Data to train our own machine learning models, and we do not permit our AI providers to train their models on it (see section 4).
Planify includes AI-assisted content generation. When you use these features — writing a caption, generating post ideas, or chatting with our AI assistant — the text you submit is sent to OpenAI for processing and the generated result is returned to you.
What is sent, and what is not:
We use OpenAI under an agreement that prohibits using our submissions to train their models. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate — you remain responsible for reviewing anything before it is published. No AI feature publishes content without your explicit action.
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you, and we do not engage in profiling.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

We do not share Meta Platform Data or YouTube user data with Amplitude, PostHog, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Affonso, or Dodo Payments. Our payment processor never receives your social media content or connected account data, and our analytics providers never receive the content of your posts.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
You do not have to delete your whole Planify account to remove platform data. When you disconnect an individual social account — from Planify, or by removing Planify in that platform's own settings — we immediately delete:
Your Planify account, your drafts and authored content, and every other connected platform are unaffected. For Facebook, Instagram, and Threads this is also what happens when Meta sends us a data deletion request on your behalf — we delete the Meta Platform Data and leave the rest of your account intact.

You have the right to request complete deletion of your data at any time. We provide two methods for data deletion:
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account settings:
If you cannot access your account, send an email to contact@planifyapps.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
If you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Threads profile, you can remove Planify directly in that platform's app settings. Meta then notifies us automatically and we delete the Meta Platform Data described in section 2.3 — access tokens, cached profile and Page details, records of posts we published, and the insights we retrieved.
This is a targeted deletion: your Planify account, your drafts, and any other connected platforms are deliberately left intact, because a request from Meta concerns your Meta data and not the rest of your account. If you want your entire Planify account erased, use the self-service flow in section 9.1. You can also start either request from our Data Deletion page.
When Meta sends us a deletion request we issue a confirmation code and a status URL where you can verify that it was carried out.
When you delete your whole account, we permanently remove:

Single-platform disconnections and Meta-initiated deletions are immediate — there is no grace period, because no account is being closed. Backups follow the same 30-day purge.

Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Posts already published to social media platforms remain on those platforms and must be deleted separately through each platform's interface.
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
gclid).Some milestones happen when you are not on our website, so we report them to Google Analytics from our servers: starting a trial, a payment, and connecting a social account. These events carry a pseudonymous identifier, the plan and amount where relevant, and the social platform name — never your post content, social account credentials, or Meta Platform Data. They follow the choice you make below; if you decline, they are not sent.
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before using Google Analytics or Google Ads measurement. Until you accept, Google's tags run in Consent Mode: they set no analytics or advertising cookies and send only cookieless signals that cannot identify you. Elsewhere, this measurement is on by default.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer of our website. When you are signed in, your choice is also saved to your account so events sent from our servers respect it. You can additionally control cookies through your browser settings; blocking non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use Planify.
We do not sell your personal data. Google processes data collected through its tags as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Our Service integrates with third-party social media platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent or for the legitimate uses permitted by that Act.
We operate from India, and our sub-processors (section 5.1) host and process data in the United States, the European Union, and India. This means your information may be transferred to and stored in a country other than your own.
Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, together with the technical safeguards described in section 6.
Planify is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
